Our antidote to spiritual falsehood is to consume the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Our approach must be not only to avoid sin, but to displace it by doing God’s will. We need to exercise diligence to keep ourselves free of leavening, ingesting God’s Truth by means of reading the Scriptures, inculcating it deeply into our character and behavior, imitating the conduct of Jesus Christ.
