description: (hide) David Grabbe, bringing us up to date on the Church of the Great God presence on the Internet, reminds us that even though our primary commission is to feed the flock, we have a respectable presence, reaching 74,000 subscribers (the population of Longview, Texas) on a daily basis. Our news letter goes out to every country on the face of the earth, from Togo to Vatican City. Our annual hits on the Internet hover around 2 million (the population of Houston, Texas or the nation of Qatar). In answer to the perennial question, "Why are we here?" (at the Feast of Tabernacles), he affirms that we are here because we have been called out of this world, having been commissioned to be saints, separate from the world, holy and undefiled. Becoming holy is our full-time vocation as we live in the world. Unfortunately, Satan and the world have often established outposts or beachheads in our mind. As God’s called out saints, we are commanded to extirpate those evil influences from our nervous system. In the World Tomorrow, we will have the opportunity to be kings and priests, instructing the new inhabitants on the ways of God. This position will be secure only if we have displaced the carnal pulls of this world with God’s Holy Spirit.
