The following humorous, but meaningful story comes from todays Montana Street bulletin, illustrating our need for effective communication as we interact with others (especially our spouses!):
While attending a marriage seminar dealing with effective communication, Tom and his wife, Grace, attentively listened to their instructor say:
It is essential that husbands and wives know each others likes and dislikes.
He then addressed the men in attendance:
Can you name your wifes favorite flower?
Tom leaned over to Grace, touched her arm gently and whispered:
Its Pillsbury, isnt it?
Brethren and friends, A merry heart does good, like medicine (Proverbs 17:22-NKJV). (:
