A Memorial Day Prayer – Bible study

The following is a prayer I wrote, honoring the service men and women who have served in all wars, both present and past:

“Thank you Lord for all the men,
And women whove ever served,

And from their sworn duty,
To God and country,
Never to have swerved.

We greatly appreciate their devotion,
To country, family and friends,

But most of all, Lord,
Were thankful they chose,
To remain faithful to the end,

In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!”

May we ever be thankful for the sacrifice of our service men and women (John 15:13).
