“A Horse Can't Pull While Kicking” – Bible study

The following above titled poem by an unknown author, well illustrates the fact that we cant accomplish much if we continually gripe or complain about lifes circumstances. Rather, we need to follow the inspired instructions found in 1 Corinthians 15:58, knowing that our time here on earth is short (John 9:4; cf. James 4:13-14). We “must” be about our Father’s business (Luke 2:49).

“A horse cant pull while kicking.
This fact we merely mention.
And he cant kick while pulling,
Which is our chief contention.

Lets imitate the good old horse
And lead a life thats fitting;
Just pull an honest load, and then
Therell be no time for kicking.”

Brethren, let’s seriously think about it!
