An Observation Regarding Our Conscience – Bible study
If ever we turn our conscience off by continually sinning and listening to sinful ideas, then it becomes more increasingly more difficult to hear Gods word (Romans 10:17). As a result, our walk with God is soon decimated.
The Proverb writer tells us:
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9).
There is a strong connection between our ears and our heart, so what we hear can actually determine our course in life, either for good or for evil (Jeremiah 16:12).
Thus, the best path for us to follow in order to maintain a good conscience before God, is to hear Gods word and do it (James 1:19-25).
P.S. A little memorization of God’s word wouldn’t hurt either (Psalm 119:11).
Lets think about it!
