Charismatic spontaneity and liturgical conformity to the truth of Christ are not enemies, but allies in securing our well-ordered freedom. The task of the whole church in regard to its worship is to discover a new and creative relationship between liturgical tradition and charismatic liberation. Neither can be what God has called it to be without the other.
