DEATH:
CERTAINTY OF
In history there is the account of a famous political prisoner standing before his judge. Asked if he had anything to say before sentence was pronounced, the man said “No.” The judge intoned, “I therefore pronounce that on a certain day you be hanged by the neck until death. I sentence you to die.” It was then that the prisoner spoke: “Your honor, nature has sentenced you to die, as well.” In dignity, he turned and walked away to his cell.
