GLORIFIED
BODY; HEAVEN: GLORY OF; TRIALS: ATTITUDE TOWARD

But in this service I attended, they had asked a young girl to sing, and she was a hunchback, terribly deformed and twisted.

There she stood, about as high as the desk, and with her face set almost down on her breast.

Sweetly she began to sing and you knew she was singing her testimony of faith and love.

“My soul is so happy in Jesus—for He is so precious to me, Tis heaven below, my Redeemer to know, For He is so precious to me.”

Then when she came into the last verse she sounded the personal word of her experience and hope in the faith:

“Where, some day, through faith in His wonderful grace, I know I’ll be like Him, and look on His face.”

A little hunchback girl—not much to look at, sickly and pale, deformed in physical body, but radiant in soul and spirit because she had grasped the promise that one day she will be like Him, laying her cross and her burden down!

I dare you to show me anything better than that.…

It makes no difference who we are or where we live or the status we may have in life—if we have placed our faith and trust in our glorified Savior we shall receive an eternal tabernacle worthy of our soul for it will be a body like unto His glorified body.

What have you ever heard in this life that can compare with that promise?
