APOSTASY;
WALK HUMBLY; CHURCH: GOD’S JUDGMENT

God can deal ruthlessly with nations and men and men’s favorite religions and temples. There is no religious group or church organization in the world that God will not abandon if it ceases to fulfill His divine will. Ecclesiastical robes are not impressive enough or gold crosses heavy enough or titles long enough to save the church once she ceases to fulfill the will of God among sinful men who need the transforming news of Christ’s gospel.

The God who raised them up in centuries past will turn away unless they continue to fulfill the gracious will of God, following on to know the Lord, walking humbly and meekly in faith and love. Crowds do not impress the Almighty. Size is not a significant matter with Him. He will turn His blessing to some small mission, to a simplehearted people somewhere whose greatest possession is the desire to love Him and obey Him.
