“End Construction” – Bible study
For several years now, many roadways in El Paso have been under constant construction. At the end of each construction project, there is usually a sign that reads, End Construction.
In this life, Christians are always Under Construction we are undergoing a constant lifelong process of spiritual growth and development (2 Peter 2:1-2; Hebrews 5:14; cf. Ephesians 4:15; 2 Peter 3:18).
As we allow Gods word to motivate us in removing our selfish behavior (Philippians 2:4), renewing our thinking (Romans 12:2), and developing Christ-like qualities (Colossians 3:5-14), we are Under Construction.
Regarding God working in us, Paul stated, He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
As we journey toward heaven, lets cooperate with Gods construction of our lives, and when His work in us is complete, we shall be like Him (1 John 3:2; cf. Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 2 Peter 1:4) God’s construction project will then be complete His sign reading, End Construction (Matthew 10:22; Mark 13:13).
