Every Wind Of Doctrine – Bible study
Whichever way the wind of popularity blows, so usually goes the general population of the world (John 11:45-48). After all, we dont want to be classified as the oddball who stands out in the crowd do we? (Acts 17:5-6).
Even as members of the Lords church, we can sometimes be swayed by the winds of false teaching, if we fail to study and make application of Gods word (Acts 20:29-32; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV; Hebrews 5:14).
Brethren, lets not be tossed to an fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men (Ephesians 4:14 NKJV), but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head Christ (Ephesians 4:15; cf. Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18).
