As Americans age, 60 percent say they expect to enjoy life more. According to a Belden Russonello & Stewart poll of 1,000 people in May 2001, here are the activities they are looking forward to in their golden years:

•     spending more time with family and friends: 81 percent

•     having more leisure time: 65 percent

•     pursuing hobbies: 61 percent

•     traveling: 51 percent
