It's Strange, Isn't It? – Bible study
Some Christians can be pushed, shoved, and insulted in the ticket line at a ball game, ignored in the beauty salon or barber shop, or run over at the mall by people who just cant wait to get their hands on the latest and greatest electronic device, but they somehow never cease to frequent these places. One wonders what happens at the workplace, when such similar things happen do these folks quit work?
But, if they feel slighted in the church for even the slightest perceived infraction, they refuse to attend for weeks they may even move to another congregation, or they may end up not attending anywhere.
Its strange, isnt it? Not only strange, but very inconsistent.
Being peeved at some of our brethren because of their idiosyncrasies, and forsaking the Lord, is about as logical as being angry at the dog and end up kicking the cat.
Instead, wouldnt it be more beneficial to be kind and longsuffering to our brethren as our Lord is to us? (Gal. 5:22-NKJV; Ephesians 4:1-3-NKJV; Ephesians 4:31-32-NKJV; Colossians 3:12-NKJV; 1 Timothy 1:16-NKJV; 1 Peter 3:19-20-KJV; 2 Peter 3:9-NKJV; cf. Exodus 34:6-NKJV; Numbers 14:18-NKJV).
Think about it!
