Is it wrong to celebrate Jesus's birthday? I'm a Baptist member but someone told me that Christmas and Easter are pagan celebrations.

Someone told me that Jesus made mistakes (not sins) as a child just like any other human being learning something. Could this possibly be true? That does not make sense to me because we would not be able to trust him. After all, how would we know where the mistakes end?
We can only go by what the scriptures tell us and the scriptures are clear that Jesus was perfect.
