Even the so-called diplomats and statesmen have little knowledge and even less control over the day-to-day incidents that bring tension and violence among the nations. The story has been told of one of our own State Department officials saying to another as they arrived at the Washington offices in the morning. “Well, what is our long-range, unchanging foreign policy going to be today?”…

I have only heard one prediction made by a world statesman in recent years that was absolutely foolproof, and that was a remark that the next war will be fought in the future!
