THERE’S a barbershop in Dallas I used to go to. I’ll never forget the first time I went in. There was a sign and it said, “In God we trust, all others pay cash.” In other words, this barber only accepted cash payment. You couldn’t write a check; you couldn’t use a credit card. Cash was the only payment the barber would accept. The death of Jesus Christ is the only payment God will accept.804
