Sick and Tired – Bible study

For those of us who are infirmed, the following poem offers some excellent advice:

Im sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Im sick and tired of feeling ill.
Im sick and tired of the doctors office.
Im sick and tired of the doctors pills.

Im sick and tired of aches and pains.
Im sick and tired of side-effects.
Im sick and tired of the smell of hospitals.
Im sick and tired of feeling like a wreck.

Oh, but Im so glad that Im covered,
I dont mean by health insurance, my friend.
Im covered by the Blood of Jesus,
And I know all will be well in the end.

So, I count all of my blessings,
They are to many to enumerate.
I take the focus off my infirmities,
And spiritually speaking, I feel great!

The Word of God transforms my attitude,
And helps me to take the focus off myself.
There are many others who are suffering
So why not try to help somebody else.

If you, my friend, are in dire straits,
And no light at the end of the tunnel you see,
Take your eyes off self and look to Jesus,
And Hell make the difference for all eternity.
