“Stand Fast” – Bible study

Elijah’s question that he asked in 1 Kings 18:21, is just as forceful and applicable today as it was when he asked it.

Brethren, it is extremely important the we stand fast in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13) and stand fast in the Lord (Philippians 4:1), for if we drift along with whatever is easy and pleasant, we will someday discover that we are not with the Lord at all and the Lord is not with us (1 John 2:18-19).

Jesus said, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad” (Matthew 12:30).

Let’s think about it, and then “stand fast!”
