STRONGHOLD
I WAS supposed to be making a trip to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I had already checked my bags and walked to the gate when I got a phone call. As I was about to board the plane, I was told that the engagement in Harrisburg had been canceled because of a snowstorm in the area. The weather was not going to allow people to come out.
The engagement was canceled because people would be trapped inside of their homes due to the storm. That’s precisely what a stronghold or a fortress is—a situation, habit, or condition that holds a person hostage. It is something that entraps you and doesn’t let you out.933
