Which God Will We Be Worshipping Sunday? – Bible study

Which god will we be worshipping Sunday? Will it be

  • The god of ease? Had a hard work week and Im exhausted; gotta rest some.
  • The god of mammon? Gotta get another dollar.
  • The god of popularity? Folks came in from out of town; gotta stay and visit with them.
  • The god of pleasure? Sunday is the only day I have to go fishing, bowling, golfing, etc, etc.
  • The god of selfish pride? They dont treat me right down there at that church – theyre all a bunch of hypocrites.
  • The God of heaven? Because I love God and His Son who died for me, I will be in the assembly of the saints for worship, no matter what the circumstance (John 3:16-17-NKJV; 1 John 4:8-11-NKJV; Romans 5:6-10-NKJV; Acts 20:7-NKJV; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2-NKJV; Hebrews 10:23-25-NKJV).

Yes, brethren and friends, we will be worshipping one of the above gods on Sunday. The question is, which one will it be?
