(29) Many of the places assigned to Simeon in this list are reckoned among the towns of the extreme south of Judah in Jos. 15:26, et seq. Bilhah, or Balah, is, perhaps, Baalah (Jos. 15:29); Ezem (Authorised Version, Azem) and Eltolad are also mentioned there. Their sites are unknown.
