39. Naharaiarmorbearer toJoab (2Sa 23:37). Thenon-occurrence of Joab’s name in any of the three catalogues is mostprobably to be accounted for by the circumstance that his office ascommander-in-chief raised him to a position superior to all theseorders of military knighthood.
