(8) Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah.Elzaphan was son of Uzziel, the fourth son of Kohath (Exo. 6:18; Exo. 6:22). Of this Kohathite family, Shemaiah was chief in Davids time (1Ch. 24:6).
