21. was threshing wheat ] By driving oxen over it; cp. 1Ch 21:23.

(21) And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David.This is wanting in Samuel. The corruption of the previous verse made some such statement necessary here. The rest of the verse nearly corresponds with 2Sa. 24:20.
