24. Azmaveth ] Cf. Neh 12:29: called Beth-Azmaveth Neh 7:28; has been conjecturally identified with El-Hizmeh, a height N. of Anathoth. The name of Azmaveth occurs in the register of the tribe of Benjamin (1Ch 8:36).
