47. All Israelites are to keep the Passover (cf. Num 9:13).
hold it ] Heb. do it: not in the sacrif. sense noticed on Exo 10:25, but in that of hold, keep: so v. 48, Num 9:2-6, Deu 16:1 al., and Mat 26:18, Heb 11:28; cf. with pilgrimage, ch. Exo 34:22, Deu 16:10; Deu 16:13, 1Ki 8:65, and with Sabbath, ch. Exo 31:16, Deu 5:15.

All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. The passover, and the feast of unleavened bread only; for a Gentile was first to be circumcised, and be joined to the congregation, and then partake of it, and not before.
