This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?
This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes. That is, the exaltation of the Messiah, after he had been so ill treated, and at last put to death by the Jews. These words are a continuation of the passage cited out of Ps 118:22.
