Deu 27:17 moves his neighbors boundary mark This was serious because it had to do with the theft of the land inheritance of God, given through Joshua (cf. Joshua 12-19; Deu 19:14; Job 24:2; Pro 22:28; Pro 23:10; Hos 5:10).
