(31) Ahio.The recurrence of this name here lends some support to the Authorised Version in 1Ch. 8:14.
Zacher.Heb., Zecher (comp. Shamer-Shemer), the Zechariah of 1Ch. 9:37, which is in fact the full form of the name. Such abbreviations are common. (See 1Ch. 5:26, Note.) After Zecher, the phrase and Mikloth has dropped out of the text, because 1Ch. 8:32 begins with the same words. (See 1Ch. 9:33.)
