That the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, I [am] the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord,…. See Ex 6:2:
speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee; that he let Israel go; and that in case of refusal, that he would punish him and his people with this and the other plague, one after another, and at last slay him and their firstborn.

Exo 6:29 That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I [am] the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
Ver. 29. That the Lord spake unto Moses. ] Here, after the digression, as touching his own genealogy, Moses returns to the story left off at Exo 6:13 , as Rab. Solomon noteth.
