Exegetical and Hermeneutical Commentary of Ezra 8:30
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring [them] to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
30. So look the priests and the Levites ] R.V. So the priests and the Levites received. This expression goes to prove that the body of men to whom Ezra entrusted the precious things consisted of two groups of twelve, the one priests the other Levites (see on Ezr 8:24).
