Conversely, the commitment demonstrated by the nine firefighters in Charleston was deemed as valorous and uncommon. God’s commitment to us, motivated by love and sacrifice, is unconditional. Our commitment to Him should be reciprocal, as demonstrated by our Bible study, meditation, and self-examination, enabling us to interact with, and sacrifice to, our physical and spiritual family.
