Elihu, of the brethren of David, is only another form of the name Eliab, 1Ch 2:13, David’s eldest brother, who, as Jesse’s first-born, had become tribal prince of Judah.

(18) Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. The LXX. reads Eliab. Eliab was Davids eldest brother (1Ch. 2:13). He, therefore, was tribal prince by right of the firstborn, assuming that the house of Jesse was the leading family of Judah. (See Rth. 4:17-20.)
Omri the son of Michael.Omri was, perhaps, an ancestor of the successful adventurer who founded the dynasty of Ahab (1Ki. 16:16; Mic. 6:16).

Elihu: If Elihu be not a mistake for Eliab, it is probable that he was called by both names. 1Sa 16:6, 1Sa 17:13, 1Sa 17:29, Eliab
