All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim [were] a hundred thousand and eight thousand and a hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.
All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim [were] an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies,…. 108,100 men. Which was the smallest of all the camps, and near eighty thousand fewer than the camp of Judah, Nu 2:9:
and they shall go forward in the third rank; and which was the first following the tabernacle.

‘All who were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were a hundred thousand and eight thousand and a hundred, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth third.’
They consisted of 107 ’lph (families/military leaders) and 11 ‘hundreds’ or military units. On the march they followed behind the Levites who were bearing the Tent of Meeting and its furniture.
